I taught French at Riverside Academy in Jimma from 2007 to 2023. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Liya
If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember that terrible school play.

What gifts mean to Liya: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
