Liton Sajib Khatun
Masonry for eleven years in Savar
- 🇧🇩 Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- The Savar Shop
- 2013 to 2024
- English, Bengali
I've worked in masonry from 2013 to 2024. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 540 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 22 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Liton
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Liton: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
