Liton Sajib Akter
Welding for 34 years in Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Workshop
- Since 1992
- English, Bengali
I've worked in welding since 1992. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,730 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Liton
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Liton: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
