I've spent 21 years as a lecturer in modern history at Heritage University in Rotterdam. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as an accountant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
What gifts mean to Lisa: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
