Lindiwe N. Maharaj
17 years teaching art in Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Victory Primary School
- Since 2001
- English, Zulu, French
I teach art at Victory Primary School in Soweto since 2001. Most days I teach Year 7, and I play music while people worked.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Lindiwe
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Lindiwe: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
