For 40 years I've run the table tennis program at Cape Town St. Mary's Swimming Club in Cape Town. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
