I work mostly in photography, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 2003 at Sydney Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I carry a notebook everywhere. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
