I coached basketball at Albany Crescent Boxing Gym from 1991 to 2015. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Lincoln: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
