I taught English literature at Meadowbank High School in Bellevue from 2004 to 2025. Most days I taught first-year students, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Lincoln
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
