I taught drama at Phoenix Primary School in San Francisco from 1983 to 2021. Most days I taught first-year students, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 2,200 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
