I taught geography at Meadowbank Academy in Cairo from 1988 to 2013. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Lina
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Lina: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
