Lina Wafa Taha
18 years teaching environmental science in Cairo
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Meadowbank Middle School
- Since 2018
- English, Arabic
For eight years I have been the environmental science teacher at Meadowbank Middle School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Lina
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Lina: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me environmental science in 2018 at Meadowbank Middle School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
