I've coached baseball at Los Angeles Youth Club since 1993. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
More about Lily
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Lily: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
