Lily Barnes
Retired religious studies teacher from Phoenix Girls' School
- 🇦🇺 Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
- 1982 to 2012
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Lily
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me religious studies in 2012 at Phoenix Girls' School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
