I taught geography at Central Girls' School in Leeds from 1997 to 2014. Most days I taught first-year students, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 770 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Lillian: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
