I'm a boxing coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 880 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Lillian
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Lillian: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
