Lilian Yewande Okonkwo
Teacher at Liberty Middle School, loves environmental science

Liberty Middle School was my second home. I taught environmental science there from 1997 to 2005, mostly Year 7.
Over the years I had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Lilian
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Lilian: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
