Lilian Joy Uzor
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Old Lagos Repairs
- Since 2008
- English, Igbo
I've worked in blacksmithing since 2008. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 790 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.

What gifts mean to Lilian: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
