Lilian Funmilayo Uba
34 years teaching physical education in Zaria
- 🇳🇬 Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria
- Zaria Academy
- Since 2015
- English, Igbo, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Lilian
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

you taught me physical education in 2023 at Zaria Academy. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
