Lilian Folake Yakubu

Youth cricket coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Bonny, Rivers, Nigeria
  • Bonny Atlas Community Club
  • Since 2000
  • English, Igbo
For 26 years I've run the cricket program at Bonny Atlas Community Club in Bonny. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Lilian

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
