Lilian Esther Yakubu

32 years teaching anthropology at Elmwood State University

I've spent 22 years as a lecturer in anthropology at Elmwood State University in Nnewi. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river. If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

More about Lilian

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.

What gifts mean to Lilian: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
