I'm a mentor in first-generation students. I've spent my career as a shop assistant and now give some of that back. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I watch every football match going. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Lilian: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
