Lilian Chidinma Akinwale
Refugee support organizer in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- 1990 to 2022
- English, Hausa
I've volunteered with Lotus Volunteer Corps from 1990 to 2022. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I always make time for a proper cup of tea. Small habits keep a team together.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Lilian
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Lilian: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
