Lilian Beatrice Athumani

Mentor in farming and recovery

🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
Lakeview Association
1986 to 2011
English, Swahili

I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 550 people through Lakeview Association. Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Areas of mentoring

Farming Recovery

What gifts mean to Lilian: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
