I taught French at Mount Pleasant Academy in Mombasa from 1986 to 1996. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
