Lieke Smit
Teacher at Haarlem Academy, loves art
- 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
- Since 2011
- Dutch
For 15 years I have been the art teacher at Haarlem Academy. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Lieke
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Lieke: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
