I've volunteered with Peoria Community Kitchen since 2011. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 9 people now. Everyone brings something.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Liang: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
