Liang Lin
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Aurora, Illinois, United States
- Old Good Shepherd Repairs
- Since 2004
- English, Mandarin
I've worked in blacksmithing since 2004. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 970 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Liang: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
