Li Qian Zhao
29 years teaching religious studies in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Since 1979
- English, Mandarin, Spanish
I teach religious studies at Los Angeles Academy in Los Angeles since 1979. Most days I teach Year 7, and my door is open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 2,730 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Li
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Li: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Year 7 class in 1988. You believed I could do it before I did Truly.
