Leyla Özlem Yılmaz

Special education and art teacher, Bornova

  • 🇹🇷 Bornova, İzmir, Türkiye
  • Bornova Secondary School
  • 1979 to 1990
  • English, Turkish
I taught special education at Bornova Secondary School in Bornova from 1979 to 1990. Most days I taught Year 10, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
