I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Leyla
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Leyla: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
