I've spent 32 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Newcastle Polytechnic in Newcastle. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Levi
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Levi: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
