I've been a nurse for 36 years, most of them in elder care at Ottawa Regional Medical Center in Ottawa. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
