Leul Daniel Wolde
Hockey coach, Addis Ababa Football Club
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Since 1993
- English, Amharic
I've coached hockey at Addis Ababa Football Club since 1993. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Leul
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
