Lestari Elsa Wijaya

22 years teaching history in Jakarta

  • 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
  • Jakarta Public School
  • Since 1998
  • English
I teach history at Jakarta Public School in Jakarta since 1998. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I play music while people worked. Over the years I've had 1,230 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Lestari

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
