Lerato T. Pillay
Self-taught street art artist
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Old Johannesburg Studio
- 2012 to 2024
- English, Afrikaans
I work mostly in street art, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 2012 at Old Johannesburg Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I never rush a conversation. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Lerato
I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
