Design and technology teacher at Central Middle School, Since 1986
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Central Middle School
- Since 1986
- English, Zulu
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Lerato
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Lerato: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
