Lerato E. Mahlangu
Mural painting artist in Mthatha
- 🇿🇦 Mthatha, Eastern Cape, South Africa
- Since 1995
- English, Zulu
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1995 at The Mthatha Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Mthatha Gallery, which keeps me honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Lerato: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
