Leonardo Vazquez
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇿 Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand
- The Hamilton Workshop
- Since 1984
- English
I've worked in bicycle repair since 1984. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,090 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Leonardo
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Leonardo: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
