I've been a nurse for 36 years, most of them in school nursing at Lotus Health Center in Santa Fe. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I try to remember everyone's name. Small things matter when someone is frightened.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
