I've coached tennis at Wollongong Pioneer Swimming Club since 2015. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
