Leonardo C. Maldonado
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
- Bogotá Lakeview Sports Club
- Since 1984
- Spanish, English
I've coached rugby at Bogotá Lakeview Sports Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
What gifts mean to Leonardo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 1991. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Alcalá de Henares.
