I taught English literature at Newcastle Secondary School in Newcastle from 1986 to 1998. Most days I taught the final-year class, and my door was open at lunch. Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, my door was open at lunch. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Leo

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Leo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
