Leo Porter
20 years teaching social studies in Tacoma
- 🇺🇸 Tacoma, Washington, United States
- Tacoma Secondary School
- 2007 to 2022
- English, Spanish
Tacoma Secondary School was my second home. I taught social studies there from 2007 to 2022, mostly primary school children.
Over the years I had 710 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Leo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Leo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
