Leo A. Mejia
Spanish and geography teacher, Buffalo
- 🇺🇸 Buffalo, New York, United States
- Beacon Academy
- Since 1978
- English
For 48 years I have been the Spanish teacher at Beacon Academy. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Leo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Leo: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
