I coached baseball at Nuremberg Crescent Boxing Gym from 2006 to 2018. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Leni
If you played for me, you probably remember the end-of-term party.
What gifts mean to Leni: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
