Lemlem Eleni Haile

Taught environmental science at Addis Ababa Middle School

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa Middle School
  • 2011 to 2022
  • English, Amharic
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm still learning every day.

More about Lemlem

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
