Leila Hiba Lotfy
Chemistry and home economics teacher, Giza
- 🇪🇬 Giza, Giza, Egypt
- Since 1990
- English, Arabic, French
For 36 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Giza Secondary School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,040 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Leila
If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Leila: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
