Leighton Powell
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇯🇲 Montego Bay, Saint James, Jamaica
- Since 2011
- English
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 2011 in Montego Bay and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I watch every football match going.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Leighton: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
