I've been a nurse for 17 years, most of them in elder care at Caxias do Sul Children's Hospital in Caxias do Sul. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
